Cubs vs. Rockies, Coors Field

Cubs Game with the Glassicks!
We had an awesome time with the Glassick's last night! Taking the bus downtown, getting some yummy apps at McCormick's before game time, walking to Coors Field and hangin in the Rock Pile, watching Sean get furious with me each time I cheered for the Rockies (on accident) because it was genuinely a good play, but in the end, Colorado 6, Chicago 5.

We had parked one of our cars in a free lot across from the field earlier that morning, so after the game we went to the car then across town to meet up with Kevin and Dennis for a few drinks!

25 Weeks and Counting....

So fun to hear the baby's heartbeat again. I can't believe it's beating that fast all day, every day! We can't wait to meet you, little baby! Grow! Grow! Grow!

Mr. & Mrs. John Rollinger

Congrats to John and Lauren on tying the knot!

We had an awesome time at John and Lauren's wedding. It was such a beautiful ceremony. Sean did an amazing job with the unity candle song, "I Will Be Here" by Stephen Curtis Chapman. John couldn't stop looking at Lauren and smiling the whole time. I can't blame him, I couldn't stop looking at her either, she looked so gorgeous!

Sean made a great observation, the reception was like a big college reunion for all of us! All of the Colby Cuties were together and partying it up. I think our baby will have awesome moves after tearin' it up on the dance floor all night! It's so amazing having such wonderful, close friends from college. I'm so thankful for these ladies and for our commitment to each other. It's so fun going through so many fun life transitions with y'all. I wouldn't change it for the world. Love you girls!

Uncle Frank and Aunt Kelley's

After hanging out with Jen in Mundelein, we continued our roadtrip to the Northwoods and hung out with Uncle Frank, Aunt Kelley, and Ashley at their amazing cabin on Lake Manitowish. We grabbed lunch, hung out at the cabin, went out on the pontoon boat exploring the chain of lakes at the end of their dock, and Sean and Kelley went out on the wave runner for a spin around the lake. Sean took me out too, not going the wild 55mph that Kelley boasts, but only about 20mph because of little Baby D.

After a fantastic dinner, Ash, Aunt Kelley, Kelley's dad, Sean and I went out on another pontoon ride, just star gazing and checking out various firework displays lighting up the sky. Its so interesting listening to all the stories of how the lake has changed over the years and all the memories that Kelley, Ashley, and Kelley's dad shared together after being apart of the Manitowish community since before Kelley was even born!

I, of course, was rocked to sleep by the smooth pontoon and cool breeze on my face.
so memorable.
Ashley, Sean, and I tried to stay awake to watch "Public Enemies" highlighting John Dillinger's hiding in Manitowish Waters at Little Bohemia (a place where Aunt Kelley used to work!) but we all fell asleep sometime in the middle of the movie :)

The Fig Family met up with us in town the next morning. They too have a cabin and were on their way up for Fourth of July lakefront celebrations. Although it was short, it was so fun to see Lauren, Jordan, Aunt Sharon, and Uncle Pat! Can't wait to do it all again!

Thanks Uncle Frank and Aunt Kelley for having us up! We had a blast!

JEN! JEN! JEN!

Sean and I left Denver yesterday for a roadtrip back home! ....well sort of home!
AGENDA:

- Visit Jen in Mundelein
- Visit Uncle Frank and Aunt Kelley's Cabin in Manitowish Waters, WI
- Meet up with my family in Rhinelander, WI for 1 week vacation
- John and Lauren's Wedding, Mundelein
- Back to Denver

We arrived to Jen's at 1am, Sean fell asleep immediately, but Jen and I stayed up for a couple hours talking :)

Then, early early early in the morning, Jen and I woke up and met up with the bride-to-be to do some last minute shopping at SAMs and Hobby Lobby :) It was so fun spending time with Lauren and sharing in her excitement for her big day in just one week!

When we got back to Jen's around noon, Sean was still sleeping! We woke him up, got our suits on, and hopped in Jen's pool. We were only outside for about 2 hours but Sean and I got BURRRRNT! Family dinner that night with all the Mahar's and then we went out to the local Mundelein watering hole for a few drinks.

So much fun being with Jen, she makes me wish we were neighbors.
